EARLY MORNING DROP-OFF – BEGINS AT 7:00AM
The Early Morning Drop-Off Program is available from September to June for students in Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 to 6.
Arrival begins as early as 7:00AM. Entrance is on 157th Street only. Students will be supervised from 7:00AM to 7:50AM.
Children may bring a snack and drink, if they wish.
At 7:50AM, the students will be brought outside or to the cafeteria, depending on the weather, to line up with their classmates before they go up to their classrooms with their teachers.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM – BEGINS AT DISMISSAL UNTIL 6:00PM ONLY
The After School Center is offered to all students in Grades Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 to 6.
The Center is open every school day beginning at dismissal time and closes promptly at 6:00PM. It is also open on all early dismissal days (half-days).
Children may be picked up no later than 6:00PM at the Cafeteria entrance. There is a doorbell for your convenience. Frequent late pick-ups will not be allowed.
Please note, any change in the normal release procedure for your child must be stated in writing or you may call the school office prior to 2:00PM. It is imperative that you provide notification prior to 2:00PM; otherwise, calls received after 2:00PM may not reach the teacher in time for dismissal changes.
ACTIVITIES - at least three or more of the following activities take place each day:
- Playtime
- Snacktime
- Homework and study time
- Homework is only supervised. We do not provide on-on-one tutoring
- Arts and Crafts
- Game Time
- Movie Time
